Why TRUE AND NOBLE EXISTS

Where trust is earned, and every story is told with intention.

True & Noble grew from a conviction that thoughtful, professional communication shouldn’t be reserved for large organizations with extensive budgets and dedicated departments. Smaller organizations and rural communities deserve the same intentionality, clarity, and strategic care.

Our work isn’t about manufacturing an image or pursuing growth at any cost. It’s about helping organizations communicate honestly about who they are, strengthen what already makes them valuable, and build lasting trust.

Hi! I’m Laura!

I’ve spent my career learning that some of the most important work happens in places that don’t always get much attention. Small towns. Rural communities. Businesses where people know each other by name, roll up their sleeves, and take pride in doing things right.

My professional background has taken me through communications, employee experience, and organizational leadership, often working alongside the people responsible for keeping essential services running. I’ve seen firsthand how much thoughtful communication can strengthen a business—and how quickly things can get complicated when it’s missing.

But here’s what I believe: communication isn’t just about having the right words or telling a good story. It’s about building relationships. It’s making sure employees understand where you’re headed, customers know they can count on you, and communities feel connected to the businesses serving them.

That’s why I started True & Noble. I wanted to bring the kind of strategic thinking and communications support often reserved for larger organizations to the businesses that are every bit as important to the people who depend on them.

I believe in being straightforward, doing what you say you’re going to do, and never asking a business to pretend to be something it’s not.

And if we can have a little fun along the way? Even better.

Golden sunrise over rural fields

If you only communicate when you need something, you’re not building a relationship. And if you don’t communicate at all, someone else will fill in the blanks.

The True and noble Philosophy

“We believe communication should be intentional, strategy should be purposeful, and authenticity is non-negotiable.”

Enough about me. Let’s talk about you.

Every business has its own story, challenges, and opportunities. I’d love to hear about yours—what’s working, what could be better, and where a little more intentional communication might make a difference.
